Editorial Policy

In short: We choose topics from real search demand, write for people booking a manicure, check every practical claim, label AI-created images, and update posts when trends or facts change.

How we choose topics

We look at what people search for on Google and Pinterest, which questions come up again and again, and which looks are rising in our own search data. We cover one look per post, so you do not land on three pages saying the same thing.

How we write

  • Plain, practical English. Every idea names the shape, length, color and finish, so you can repeat it at the salon.
  • Guides answer the question first, then explain.
  • We do not invent statistics, prices or celebrity claims. Prices and wear times are given as typical ranges.
  • We are not nail technicians or doctors. For nail damage, allergies or infections, see a professional.

How we check and update

Before a post goes live we check that each description matches its photo and that the advice is consistent with our other guides. We review older posts regularly and rewrite parts that no longer meet this standard.

Images

Photos by nail artists are credited. AI-created concept images are labeled in each post that uses them. Read more in How We Create Our Images.

Our app and links

Many posts mention Nartie, our own nail try-on app. We mention it because it helps you preview a design before you book, and we say clearly that it is ours.
