About Gleamy Nails
In short: Gleamy Nails is a nail inspiration site run by a small editorial team. We sort nail ideas by shape, color, season and occasion, publish our own Google search-visibility data each month, and tell you exactly what to ask for at the salon.
What we do
Most nail inspiration is a long scroll of pretty photos with no help on how to get the look. We try to do the part that comes after the scroll: which shape suits short fingers, which nude works on deep skin, how long builder gel really lasts, and the exact words to say to your nail tech.
- Nail ideas sorted by shape, color, season and occasion.
- Nail guides on shapes, wear time, salon visits and nail care, in our guides section.
- Trend data from our own Google Search Console figures, published every month in the Nail Trends Index.
Who writes Gleamy Nails
Gleamy Nails is written and edited by the Gleamy Nails Editorial Team. We are nail lovers and researchers, not licensed nail technicians, so we do not give medical advice. When a post covers nail health or product safety, we point you to a professional.
How we pick, write and check every post is set out in our editorial policy.
Our photos
Some photos come from nail artists and are credited to them. Others are AI-created concept images that show a color, shape and design together. Posts that use them say so, and our image policy explains how we make and check them.
Try a look on your own hand
Seeing a design on someone else’s hand only tells you so much. Our iPhone app Nartie puts nail designs on a photo of your own hand (your first 3 try-ons are free), so you can check the shape and color before you book.
